A Lengthy Island man was slapped with animal cruelty cost for tossing a canine out of his automobile, authorities stated Saturday.
Caciem Kruer, of Brentwood, was arrested Friday and charged with animal abandonment and failure to offer correct veterinary automobile, the Suffolk County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals stated.
Kruer, 20, was noticed dumping a 2-year-old black pit bull named Creed onto Elmhurst St. close to Washington Ave. in Holtsville round eight:30 p.m. on Jan. 18, cops stated.
After he ditched the canine, Kruer drove off.
A witness instantly known as police who took Creed to an area animal hospital to be handled, authorities stated.
