A Florida man is accused of sexually assaulting a university pupil after pretending to be her Uber driver.
Willie James Foust Jr. was arrested on Tuesday after police mentioned he pretended to be a driver for the ride-sharing app and picked up a Florida Gulf Coast College pupil at a bar in August.
Foust, 33, then drove the girl to the campus’ welcome heart parking zone, obtained within the again seat and sexually assaulted her, in keeping with a police report obtained by the Fort Myers Information Press.
“What we consider occurred is he simply took benefit of a scenario,” FGCU police chief Steven Moore instructed the outlet. “It was raining that evening. When he pulled up, she requested, ‘Are you my driver?’ He mentioned, ‘Sure,’ and he or she obtained in.”
