An Arizona man was arrested after attempting to smuggle over $1 million value of marijuana from Mexico to the U.S. over the weekend, federal officers stated.

Customs and Border Safety brokers discovered 120 bundles of weed that weighed nearly 2,448 kilos that have been saved within the storage compartments, partitions and ground of the 55-year-old man’s cell dwelling on Saturday, the company stated on Wednesday.

Officers arrested the person — whose id wasn’t launched — after attempting to cross Arizona’s Lukeville border with the medication, which have been value practically $1.2 million, CBP stated.
