NJ Transit service out and in of Penn Station was suspended due to a caught bridge Thursday.
The Portal Bridge in Secaucus was caught within the open place since 11 a.m., creating delays as much as 20 minutes, in response to NJ Transit alerts.
With the bridge not budging, NJ Transit needed to reroute its Midtown direct trains to Hoboken Terminal.
NJ Transit riders in want of other routes can have their tickets cross honored on the company’s buses and in PATH’s Newark Penn Station, Hoboken and 33rd St. stops.
There have been much more points disturbing commutes on NJ Transit Thursday, together with 20-minute delays coming out and in of Penn Station round 6 a.m. as a result of Amtrak’s overhead wires failing.
